Interaction and communicating with members is a priority for Stellenbosch 360, therefore we established a few constructive platforms at regular intervals during the course of the year for focussed and personal interaction with members.
Networking functions takes place in February (focus on way forward), April (joint session with business sector) and June (Business Tourism Indaba) every year. These functions aim to relay activities for the year, provide networking opportunities between members and generating ideas and systems to stimulate business tourism.
The Annual General Meeting takes place in September and provide feedback of the past years’ activities and achievements, the launch of new campaigns and interaction with members on a personal level.
The Year End function takes place in October, giving members an overview of the past year but also a preview of the following years’ activities and campaigns.
Staff educationals entails site visits to new members to gain product knowledge for marketing purposes. This takes place from May to August each year.
Aandklas is a new initiative that started in 2017 to upskill members on business tourism. This will continue in 2018 with 4 training sessions from February to May.
A new initiative called Praat Saam/Let’s Talk brings members in selected clusters, eg accommodation, tour operators, restaurants and SMME’s together for discussions about issues of mutual concern. These cluster sessions take place from October to November.
