Spitbraai Last Sunday Of The Month

To braai or not to braai is never an option in sunny South Africa. South Africans can really braai anything, and it’s more than a meal, it is a tradition. A braai is about being South African, and so is a spitbraai.

A spit braai is a term derived from South African slang. It’s a method of cooking meat on a spit rotisserie machine. The meat is slowly cooked on a turning rod and regularly basted with flavour, we prefer to use Ina Paarman’s basting until is it perfectly cooked and ready to eat.

A spitbraai ultimately leans towards simplicity & taste in a relaxed atmosphere. Join us for our familiar favourite Lamb Spitbraai every last Sunday of the Month – Live music, great wines & good times
