The Estate is located between Stellenbosch and Franschoek, and offers a number of conference rooms, wedding venues and is ideal for business travelers, wedding parties or a holiday break away with easy access to the surrounding wine farms.
Zorgvliet Wine estate offers the following; we have a wine tasting within the original farmstead and a picnic area for a banquet on a blanket (during the summer seasons). These provide the perfect spot to unwind for any individual. These facilities are all walking distance from the lodge. There are many surrounding restaurants to dine at for lunch and dinner (we can assist with bookings and recommendations).
Breakfast is included and will be served in the lounge area.
Zorgvliet Wine Estate can offer the following accomodation
- Nine double en suite rooms and one honeymoon suite
- Two, two bedroom, one bathroom unit that can accomodate 4 guests
- One, three bedroom, two bathroom unit that can accomdate 6 guests
- A swimming pool area provides a relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy the sunset
Our rooms are spacious, luxurious, comfortable, elegantly furnished and individually decorated and include the following:
- Full bath, shower and vanities
- Remote controlled television with DSTV
- King size exsta lenth beds or Single beds that can be requested upon making a reservation.

Nestled in the Banhoek Valley near Stellenbosch, you will be amazed at the breathtakingly spectacular views of the Simonsberg Mountains and vineyards, and your wedding pictures will afford you absolutely classic memories.
Zorgvliet Wine Estate offers a variety of options; we have a very elegant wedding venue (The Oak room) for your reception and a chapel for you ceremony. We also have our country lodge’s lounge area (The Banhoek room) that can be used for pre drinks. For the guests who would like to stay over we have a country lodge on the premises walking distance from the venue. For pre or post wedding activities your guests can enjoy our wonderful picnic and deli area.
We also have a cellar that you cantour by appointment or visit our wine tasting and savor the taste of Zorgvliet.
Zorgvliet Wine estate is a secure estate, with a 24 hour security service and secure parking area’s for your guests
We have a charming little chapel that can accommodate your guests on our premises which was built in 1732. It has an elegant look and feel, with its stained glass windows and wooden pews.
The chapel can accommodate 120 people.
The venue hire includes the use of the Zorgvliet Chapel, wooden pews and there is a red carpet available, should you choose to use it.
Outside wedding ceremonies can be held in our selected area of our manicured gardens and a customized proposal can be worked for an outside ceremony.

The Oak Room has spectacular vineyard and mountain views. Our stunning crystal chandeliers, high ceilings and white interior make a perfect canvas for any color scheme. There is a little fireplace in the venue which creates a lovely warm atmosphere for a winter wedding and there are air conditioners for those warm summer days.
Our Country Lodge lounge area can be used for a pre-drink area. This room has big concertina doors that open up on to a veranda with lovely views over the vineyards or to the swimming pool area at the accommodation.
